Mexicantos: Five Centuries of Mexican Choral Treasures

During the Spanish takeover of Mexico in the 1500s, the native people and their new inhabitants blended music styles, mixing the traditional European canticles with the flare of local indigenous history, developing a unique polyphonic music style.
