Founded in 1974, the all-male ballet company, affectionately known as The Trocks, continues to delight audiences with athletic parodies of classical dances, like Swan Lake, complete with pointe shoes and tutus.

As Houston gets some spring in its step, head to Memorial Park for the popular fine art festival as more than 300 artists from across the globe set up shop, including mixed-media works from the 2017 featured artist, Amanda Bennett.

Alley company artist Todd Waite stars in this devilishly funny 2015 play by Daily Show vet David Javerbaum about God that, according to the New York Times, "is a gut-busting-funny riff on the never-ending folly of mankind's attempts to fathom God's wishes through the words of the Bible and use them to their own ends." Thankfully, Waite practices what Javerbaum's play preaches.
