Whether it's your beer or your bike, it's a good weekend to go green.

Tour de Houston is back, baby,

Photography at its Limits
March 15 | Houston Center for Photography
Using "images that think rather than represent," this exhibition of images from Marcos Lopez, Joiri Minaya, and Oscar Muñoz invites visitors to reconsider their relationship to photography, suggesting a medium less about reproducing reality than one interested in dynamic, political conversations.
Free. Houston Center for Photography, 1441 W Alabama St. 713-529-4755. More info at hcponline.org.
60th Annual Houston St. Patrick's Day Parade
March 16 | Smith Street and Congress
Alas, apparently you can't get a Shamrock Shake around here. Might as well substitute a green beer for your green ice cream and bask in the Celtic tunes flowing from the annual parade, with an after party in Market Square Park. Then head over to Main Street for the real fun.
Free. Smith Street and Congress. More info via Facebook.
Light Circus Spring Break Concert
March 16 | Karbach Brewery
Say what you want about AV InBev, but there's no denying Karbach attracts great musical talent for its concerts. This Spring Break edition—timed ahead of the new Light Circus Hazy IPA release—summons local superstars Wild Moccasins, who will open for Ghostland Observatory and a DJ set from Neon Indian. Best of all: It'll be apart from all the St. Patrick's Day hubbub back downtown.
Tickets $30. Karbach Brewery, 2032 Karbach St. More info and tickets at karbachbrewing.com.
Tour de Houston
March 17 | City Hall
Staggered into 20-, 40-, and 60-mile routes, the annual charity ride winds its way from City Hall, through the Heights, out to Lake Houston, and back to benefit RePlant Houston. There's not a better way to take in the sights, nor is there a more convenient way to train for the annual MS150 Houston–Austin charity ride. Rookies welcome; there's even day-of registration.
Registration $40. Starts/ends at City Hall, 901 Bagby St. More info and register at itsyourrace.com.
George Strait w/ Lyle Lovett & Robert Earl Keen
March 17 | NRG Stadium
Rounding this year's rodeo? The King of Country himself. The concert-only (read: no mutton busting) performance will feature about 6,000 extra floor seats to accommodate his legions of fans. Other than last year's Garth Brooks showstopper, we can't think of a better way to cap off another rodeo.
Resale prices vary. NRG Stadium, 1 NRG Pkwy. More info and tickets at axs.com.
