Here's to Happier

Marshmello Bringing Sweet Beats to the Rodeo

The EDM star has just been announced as part of RodeoHouston's 2020 lineup.

Add “sweet” to the list of adjectives we’re using to describe RodeoHouston 2020 because Marshmello is bringing his cotton-candy beats to the Bayou City. Known for his slick synths and sugary confection-shaped helmet, the EDM superstar will perform at Rodeo on Friday, Mar 20.

Like previously announced Friday headliner, Lizzo, Marshmello had an explosive year in 2019. He broke the record for longest-running No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart with 2018 Bastille collab “Happier,” took home his second consecutive American Music Award for Favorite EDM Artist, and became the first DJ to hold a concert inside online video game Fortnite.

The majority of this year’s lineup, which includes Chis Stapleton, Khalid, and Becky G, was announced in January. Check back this afternoon for the final Rodeo Houston artist reveal.

Tickets for the final three performances go on sale 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb 6, at rodeohouston.com with the “online waiting room” opening at 9:30 a.m.
