It's award show season once again. Last week, BET announced the nominees for their upcoming Hip-Hop Awards show, and some of Houston's most prominent acts like Don Toliver and Megan Thee Stallion (Are we surprised?) have made the list. Additionally, city favorites including Liza Koshy and Travis Scott made appearances at New York Fashion Week , with a few birthday celebrations that didn't go unnoticed.

Megan Thee Stallion was nominated in multiple categories at the BET Hip-Hop Awards.
The H-Town Hottie was nominated as the lyricist and hip-hop artist of the year, best hip-hop album for Good News, best collaboration, best hip-hop video, and song of the year for "WAP," alongside Cardi B.
Beyoncé graced Instagram with looks for her 40th birthday.
From the looks of Queen Bey 's posts, she celebrated her birthday on a yacht in Capri, Italy. Styled by KJ Moody, Beyonce was dressed in a feathered Valentino blouse and Altuzarra flair jeans.
