New Music From Houston Artists November 6-12

It's the most wonderful time of the year一for music that is. Houston artists have maintained a stellar presence on the music scene, and this week presents all-new music from a collection of genres. Rising R&B songstress Peyton gives us Motown love with "Perfect Peach," and Trae Tha Truth flexes on us with his "Knots."

Peyton, "Perfect Peach"
Following the release of her second album, PSA, Peyton released a video for her single, "Perfect Peach." The nostalgic visual channels a 1970s aesthetic, and shows Peyton meeting a mystery man who she describes as an "angel wearing a halo," on the subway.
HVN, All Girls Go To Heaven
HVN has been steadily gaining momentum. The artist has released a slew of singles this year, that came together to formulate his latest EP, All Girls Go To Heaven. The 8-track project is an impressive display of the artist's versatility, dabbling in both punk rap and trap.
KCG Josh, "Heartless"
KCG Josh an affiliate of Maxo Kream's Kream Clicc, originally released his single "Heartless" in 2019, but the unreleased track hadn't made it to streaming platforms. This week, the emcee released the song on Apple Music and all other streaming platforms, with an accompanying music video.
Beyonce, "Be Alive"
While her fans await clues for a new project, Beyoncé is doing a lot of work behind the scenes. Her new song, "Be Alive" appears on the recently released soundtrack for the upcoming film, King Richard. The biopic stars Will Smith and centers on the father of mega-athletes Venus and Serena Williams.
Trae Tha Truth featuring Quavo, "Knots"
While we know Trae Tha Truth to be the city's unofficial hometown hero, some may often forget his roots lie in music. Thursday, Trae announced his new song, "Knots" featuring Quavo of the Atlanta rap trio, Migos.
Official Wilough, "Told Yourselves"
R&B music is remerging, and Official Wilough is serenading the ladies with his latest song, "Told Yourselves." On the track, Wilough is letting women know that they deserve nothing but the best.
