Triniti's Guest Bartender Series Shakes Things Up

A six-week series of guest bartenders will donate their tips to charity—and Triniti is matching each donation.

Starting January 14, a six-week series of guest bartenders will be shaking things up at Triniti every Tuesday night. It's one thing to have a new face behind the bar, but that isn't necessarily a reason to visit in and of itself. Instead, each bartender is selflessly donating all of their tips for the evening to charity—a donation that Triniti plans to match up to $1,000 each Tuesday night.

The first guest bartender will be Brandon Ricks, best known for his neck tattoos and Negronis at downtown's Bad News Bar. Ricks's charity of choice is 86 Cancer, a local charitable fund created to benefit Matt Todd, an employee at downtown tapas joint Batanga. Todd was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, and the 501(c)(3) charity is aiming to raise $10,000 to assist with his medical bills.

Coming up after Ricks in the rotation will be:

  • January 21: Greg Doxakis of Republic National Distributing Co.
  • January 28: Chip Hight of Balvenie Whiskey, benefiting BlueCure Foundation
  • February 4: Sheridan Fay of El Gran Malo and El Big Bad, also benefiting 86 Cancer
  • February 11: Hal Brock of Glazers Wholesale Drug Co., benefiting Yes! Prep
  • February 18: James Watkins of Cordua Restaurants

Each Tuesday night guest bartender series runs from 7 to 10 p.m. at Triniti's bar, and each night features a cocktail menu designed especially for that evening. Additionally, Triniti's menu of $6 bar bites will be available all night long—or, if you want to pay a little extra, you can get the truly prime "prime burger" with arugula and Brie for $13.
