Culinary Khancepts, the new owner of State Fare Kitchen and Bar, will keep the restaurant open. That means more burgers, reportedly.

It's been quite the month for Cherry Pie Hospitality. First, the landlord of Star Fish and Pi Pizza locked out the businesses for a day. Then the restaurant group was named in a lawsuit with the landlord at the proposed Lee's Creamery space over an alleged breach of contract.

Now Cherry Pie has sold State Fare Kitchen and Bar.

According to a release, Culinary Khancepts—a sister company of the Star Cinema Grill Group—has completed a purchase on State Fare. It says it'll keep the modern Southern comfort restaurant open and promises expansion.

“It is a pleasure to have such an exciting concept under our umbrella," said Omar Khan, president and CEO of Culinary Khancepts. "As we look forward to expanding the State Fare brand in the Houston market, we will continue to let our team provide the community with the same great service and vibrant atmosphere that they have grown accustomed to."

We'll update this article with any more information.
