This week brings a bunch of beer releases, including a West Coast IPA at Karbach, another huge can release at Ingenious, and experimental fare down at Saloon Door. Here's the beer news:

News & Events

Eureka Heights Brewing Co. celebrates three years with a party from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. The event is free, but if you want a VIP tasting, you must get your tickets today, and they're $65. The brewery is celebrating with an anniversary bourbon-barrel-aged barleywine called Stun Gravy.

Beer Releases

Karbach's Hop Tongue, a 7.5 percent ABV West Coast IPA made with Centennial, Chinook, and Simcoe hops, is on the way. Look for it soon on supermarket shelves.

A few fun ones on tap at Saint Arnold: Bishops's Barrel No. 23 with Oranges and Texas Peche. Also, in bottle, Divine Reserve No. 19 and 2018 Pumpkinator.

Baileson has brought back its dry-hopped hazy IPA Modern Mo'tralaxy, which has Citra, Galaxy, and Motueka hops.

New at Platypus: The Gold Coast IPA, a 7.1 percent ABV IPA with Denali and Mandarina Bavaria hops, then dry-hopped with lemon drop.

Ingenious released six new cans over the week. The brews are: Smarty Sunny B (a Berliner weiss with blood orange, pineapple, and grapefruit), Just Juicy Hops (a New England IPA with a bunch of hop varietals), Hall Pass (a German kolsch with Huell Melon hops), Purple Stuff (an imperial gose with dragonfruit, blueberries, and raspberries), Packing Snacks (a chocolate pudding milk stout), and Double Splat (a New England IPA with sweet, juicy hops). Four-packs of these beers are still available.

B-52 Brewing is releasing on Friday a Fruit Tart fruited sour farmhouse ale with kiwi and papaya.

Saloon Door has a new experimental beer out: Chocolate Salted Pecan RIS.

No Label does good things with chili peppers, so it's great to see that Don Jalapeño is back at the brewery.
