FM Kitchen & Bar gets a new location in Montrose.

Houston foodies get yet another treat this summer when FM Kitchen & Bar expanded to a second location, this time in Montrose.

After experiencing much success at their Washington Corridor/Rice Military location, the restaurant decided to open a second location, with a June 23 Grand Opening. The new location was opened with the purpose of offering the same food, beverages, and cocktails as the original location, but will expand the FM brand by featuring a more expansive bar program as well as some lighter options and a late-night menu.

The internal design team decided to utilize Montrose’s energetic late-night environment while also taking cues from the original location’s ambiance. “We look to the Montrose neighborhood as an opportunity to evolve the FM brand and build on the momentum we’ve gathered over the past 18 months as a more bar-forward concept. We are excited about how the more elevated design not only fits this location but also inspires what we do as a brand,” said Managing Partner, Jason Mok.

Already known for its extensive cocktail and beer menu, the new FM location introduces new exclusive and specialty cocktails as well as a Beam Suntory Highball Machine to make the ultimate whiskey highball.

“We've built a really solid craft cocktail program already, but we are raising the bar with the Montrose location,”  said General Manager and Beverage Director Rochelle Tougas.

Chef de Cuisine Valentin Garcia also created a well-rounded menu, with lighter options complimenting fan-favorites such as Birria Torta, Green Chile Enchiladas, and FM Club Sandwich. Additionally, there is a “Late Night Menu” offered from 10 p.m to 2 a.m. which includes late-night specials, “can’t resist” favorites, and specialty cocktails.

FM Kitchen & Bar Montrose is located at 907 Westheimer Road.
