Beyoncé pulled off the ultimate celebrity coup in 2008 when she kept her wedding to Jay-Z completely under the radar and out of the public eye. The rest of us had to wait over four years to see Yoncé in her white satin gown, until she released a blink-and-you'll-miss-it glimpse in her music video for "I Was Here."

Little sis Solange did things a little differently when she tied the knot in New Orleans over the weekend to her long-time boyfriend, music video director Alan Ferguson. There's a reason the internet went nuts on Sunday when pictures of Solange's nuptials broke. This is the wedding we all dream of attending, where everyone looks cool, stylish and ready to have (as Solange would say) a very good damn time. 

Let's break it down:

Solange and Ferguson arrived at the Marigny Opera House together on vintage bicycles painted all white, hers festooned with white roses and baby's breath. 

Until this weekend, the phrase "bridal pantsuit" would have conjured a cult-appropriate linen tunic from the soul-crushing depths of Chico's. Solange's arrival outfit, in addition to being perfect for a bike ride, also happens to be the epitome of chic. The low-cut, cream-colored pantsuit by Stephane Rolland might be the biggest thing for brides since Kate Middleton's embrace of lace sleeves. Get ready for an army of be-pantsed brides on Style Me Pretty in 2015.

In her wedding portraits, Solange upgraded to a simple white gown with yet another stunning cape, designed for her by Humberto Leon for Kenzo. Solange kept everything sleek and minimalist, only adding a pair of wide gold bangles and a wash of red lipstick. The groom wore an all-white suit, sans tie, matching Solange's pop of gold with the toe caps on his shoes. 

The bridal party portraits by Rog Walker are shot in the style of contemporary Italian artist Vanessa Beecroft (per Vogue, who had the exclusive on the photos). The bridal party shot includes both big sis Beyoncé and mother Tina Knowles in all-white, as well as Solange's friend and frequent collaborater Janelle Monáe (at left). 

The evening included perfomances by Questlove, Kelala, and Kindness, and the couple followed New Orleans tradition with a second line celebration in the street that featured a brass band.

Solange and her 10-year-old son, Daniel Julez, kept the party going with a choreographed dance to "No Flex Zone."
