Sports Enthusiasts rejoice

Where to Watch the Rockets This Sunday

Where will you be watching Game 7?

8th Wonder's own Rocketfuel!

Down by 19 in the third quarter, but coming back to win by 12 in the fourth, the Houston Rockets pulled off a historic comeback in last night’s game. Loyal fans who were watching at home were rewarded, but how many of us wished we had been with other sports enthusiasts to celebrate? Jumping up from your couch and knocking over the popcorn bowl from the living room sofa as you scream in victory is a fruitless experience when you realize you're the only one yelling and your neighbor is complaining about the noise.

Do Game 7 right this Sunday and get out to one of these sports bars (or breweries).

Pub Fiction

Located in Midtown, Pub Fiction not only has an awesome name but is a hub for Rockets fans. They held their own viewing special last night, and will do it again this Sunday.

Founded by Michael Paolucci and Blini Hoxha in 2005, Pub Fiction is a classic sports bar. Sunday night’s big game will coincide with Crawfish Sundays, so fans can indulge while rooting for the Bayou City.

8th Wonder Brewery

Home to five original brews and its very own room dedicated to tap beers, 8th Wonder is ready for the Rockets to come back to Clutch City and take another win, offering flash specials of discounted beers for guests who come to watch the game with them.

Last night, 8th Wonder offered a $4 special on their in-house brew, Rocket Fuel, and let’s hope they do it again Sunday. Rocket Fuel is a collaborative Vietnamese Coffee Porter brewed with beans roasted by Greenway Coffee Co. and a great way to celebrate the home team.

Revelry on Richmond

You might remember this name from our Best Bars cover story last December, because Revelry made the top 10. With good food, and dozens of craft beers on tap, this place is stellar.

They’re eager for Sunday’s game too, even making their own poster to advertise the game and offering specials on tap brews, with 40 options to choose from for only $5.
