Every week, we’ll be highlighting a pup or kitty currently in need of a forever home. We love animals, and we hope this feature will help bring these furry friends closer to finding their human soulmates.

Meet Houstonia’s Pet of the Week: Henson!
Picture this: Thanksgiving is approaching, you're catching up on Netflix's third season of Love Is Blind, and cozied up next to you on the couch is your new best friend, a 40-lb Staffordshire named Henson—as in Jim, pioneer of the modern TV puppet. Yes, you almost finished that whole bag of chips, but Henson isn't judging; he’s a snacky guy too!
In this season of gratitude, there are plenty of reasons to be thankful for one-year-old Henson. He loves making new friends (including children), he’s potty trained, and he’ll gladly hang out in his kennel like a good boy. Is he a little bit like you and forgets his manners sometimes? Sure, but this is a safe space (remember that whole bag of chips?).
