It's been one year since the fleet of fashion trucks began gathering along Washington Ave. each month, giving customers a shopping experience unlike any other in the city. This month's Fashion Truck Festival rolled up to Liberty Station Bar this weekend and did not disappoint.

Mobile boutiques and vendors included Urban Izzy, Shoe Bar, Height of Vintage, A Hippy Heart Vintage, Joey & Jaime, and Gastro Punk.

“The festivals have been great,” said Height of Vintage Owner Vanessa Tess. “We’re discovering new fashion trucks around the area who want to participate in the festival. We’ve had so many requests we’ve run out of space but hope to expand.”

The fests have been so successful that pioneers of Houston’s fashion truck trend announced they'll be opening their first store-front boutique in CityCentre. Set to open in mid-August, "Fashion Truck Collection" will feature merchandise from Urban Izzy, Shoe Bar, Height of Vintage, and Park Boutique.
