Daisies, Tie-Dye and Band Tees: Music Festival Fashion

Unleash your inner flower girl with with lots of tie-dye, flowers, fringe, feathers and crochet.

Spring is upon us and that means all the outdoor music festivals are beginning. It started with Ultra Miami in March and continues through October with Houston's own Something Wicked around Halloween. Whether you're going to Coachella, Hard Summer, Lollapalooza, ACL, Summer Fest, Electric Daisy Carnival or Burning Man—just to name a few—a girl needs something to wear!

I usually blog about all the ways to wear my Traveling Black Dress, but these festivals are no place for an LBD. Attendees of the outdoor music concerts want to look funky and dress to reflect the EDM music genre, but they also have to dress comfortable enough to spend the weekend sitting in the grass.

This year the mood seems to lean more toward hippie/flower girl with lots of tie-dye, flowers, fringe, feathers and crochet. Some of the girls in this post are headed to Euphoria in Austin mid-April.  A few of their favorite places to shop for these looks are Top Shop, Urban Outfitters, Free People, Nasty Gal, Revolve and American Apparel.
