With so much happening in the way of fashion right here in Houston, why not look around our bustling metropolis for a taste of what's hot. After all, in a city where it's "officially fall" but still breaking 80 degrees every afternoon without a sweat (other than yours), a down-home Southern girl knows how to properly pair cowboy boots with shorts and a cardigan for fall like only someone repping the Gulf Coast can.

Beyond the stereotypical boots and cowboy hats though, lately Houstonians have starting wearing their hometown pride on their sleeves, supporting local brands like FYHA Clothing Company—the abbreviation stands for F*** You Houston's Awesome. From hats to tees, the message being spread is one both stylish guys and gals living in Houston can appreciate—that our city is indeed awesome.

FYHA's line of occasionally salty, always spirited tanks and tees have been popular from festival wear to Sunday Funday street style. The brand offers lots in the way of head gear as well, with a variety of trendy caps boasting the increasingly popular acronym as a logo. And when temps do finally start to drop, the company is coming out with hoodies that can be pre-ordered now and will be delivered Nov. 24.

Maybe it's a response to all of those people in the past few years who have consistently reminded us why L.A., New York and Chicago are sooooo much cooler, more scenic, more exciting and so on. This line shows that Houstonians are ready to answer back, proudly wearing the best of the best in Houston style.
