It's 2017 and time for me to think of new ways to accessorize my little black dress. I have been doing this for almost two years now and am amazed at how many looks can be achieved with this famous closet staple! Since it's winter time, it's all about layers, whether that's sweaters, vests, jackets or sweatshirts. One of the hottest trends of this season is the bomber jacket, so I decided to kick off the new year with that. 

As you can see, this season's popular bomber jacket comes in all different shapes, colors and looks. This first one has an evening feel with the shiny silver and bold color-blocking in red and black. I am playing up all those colors with silver socks, heels and choker, red tights and a red beret.

This second jacket brings a bit of spring to the cold weather with its soft fabric and floral pattern. Who says you can't wear flowers in your hair and pink tights in the winter?

We are in Houston. Is it winter or spring? It's always freezing today and hot tomorrow, so might as well dress for it.

I love the athletic, edgy look of this jacket accessorized with lots of fun brooches. I am wearing star-patterned hose to compliment the star pins, gold knee socks and leather gloves to complete this moto look. 

I should be wearing some aviator glasses with this outfit! Some times we bloggers go back and notice these things.
