If you're in need of some motivation to get over the hump this week, look no further. Houston is a veritable oasis when it comes to holiday shopping, and special markets and pop-ups are, well, popping up across the city this weekend. Here, five reasons to push through the rest of your work week and make a dent in that holiday gift list.

Watercolorist @dawnahasara will be at our market on Saturday. She's a local artist who has a great talent in vibrantly recreating some of the most familiar scenes of Southeast Texas. Swing by the market and take a look at her work. You just might find a little piece of Texas you're quite fond of. #1stsatartmarket #houstonart #heightsart #houheights #houart #shoplocal #houstonlife #houstonsbest #houstonevents #saturday #firstsaturday
