Blogger Closet Sale

What: Admit it: You already shop your favorite influencers' Instagram posts. This weekend, you can actually shop their closets when a handful of local bloggers unload gently worn clothing and accessories at Market Street's first-ever sale of this kind. So, if you follow Loren Hamilton (Wear and When), Brittany Fullwood (Hello Honey), Alex Carreno Haines (Adored by Alex), Rebekah Gullo (Fashion and My Fellows), Candace Thomas (Luxe With Kids), or Jillian Goltzman (Cup of Charisma), start stalking their 'Grams now to build your wish list. All transactions will take place via Venmo.
When: Friday, June 21–Saturday, June 22; 5–10 p.m. and Sunday, June 23; noon–6 p.m.
Where: Post Oak Central Campus, 1990 Post Oak
What: Speaking of doing it for the 'Gram...Erin Creeks, the social media entrepreneur behind MsIndependent, wants everyone, regardless of follower count, to experience Insta fame—if only for a night. Her interactive pop-up extravaganza provides all the ingredients for the ultimate selfie: hair and makeup touch-ups, picture-perfect backdrops, edible art, luxury cars, and more. Tickets for a two-hour block start at $35/person.
When: Friday, June 21; 6 p.m. (downtown) and Saturday, June 22; 7:30 a.m. (The Woodlands)
Where: Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive and Midtown Park, 2811 Travis St.
What: The Consulate General of India leads the charge to bring the fifth International Day of Yoga to Texas with free public events around the state including two here in Houston. This year's celebration of the ancient practice coincides with the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Wear comfy clothes, bring your own mat, and cross your fingers for nice weather.
Live DJ Pride Ride
When: Saturday, June 22; 10:45 a.m.
Where: SoulCycle River Oaks, 2549 Kirby Dr.
What: Kick off Pride Weekend with a bang and a burn—a 45-minute indoor cycling class typically burns around 500-700 calories—at one of SoulCycle's themed rides to celebrate the occasion. At this one led by instructor Pinij NaLampoon, Pride anthems come courtesy of a live DJ who will spin while you spin.
When: Saturday, June 22; 7 p.m.–midnight
Where: Decorative Center of Houston, 5120 Woodway Drive
What: Swimwear and Slim Thug take center stage at this "sexy summer runway show" that exists somewhere at the intersection of the fashion and fitness industries. Founders Carmen Martinez and Khali Quartey—both models and bodybuilders—plan to promote diversity on the runway, where influencers will model top summer trends including swimsuits and athleisure and H-Town's own Slim Thug will give a special performance. Proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Tickets start at $35, and guests must be 21 and over.
