Last year, Texas retailer francesca’s, where southern belle’s can seek the latest in trendy clothing and accessories, debuted their tween line franki, providing its beloved fashion to a younger crowd. To celebrate a year since it’s release, franki will now become its own brand with an official brick and mortar in Memorial City Mall.

Along with the standalone store, franki will occupy its own online shop set to launch on November 15th and will host separate social media accounts to better tailor to their tween audience. The sister store will feature a wide-range of apparel from tops and jackets, to jeans and dresses and of course, must-have accessories. Franki will also feature mini-me variations for fransceca’s shoppers to match their younger ones.

The latest initiative comes just in time for the holidays, as both online and in-store will feature its holiday collection and gift guide suggestions to be sure your tween is up to date on the latest styles. Notable selections include an array of dresses including the traditional red and green Plaid Bow Dress, fall’s trendy puffy sleeve Velvet Dress as well as the Striped Sequin Dress that is perfect for celebrating New Year’s Eve.

Francesca’s CEO Andrew Clarke was responsible for the growing success of the tween predecessor, Justice, under the parent conglomerate Ascena. Despite Justice’s growing progress, issues within Ascena eventually snowballed into its disintegration. With franki, Clarke hopes to reprise the success and styles fit for the tween scene and aim’s to reach the same success since there’s currently no competition.

Franki is located in between The Apple Store and francesca’s and is now available to shop in store.
