The Drawl

The "Ultimate" Houston Airbnb "Experience"

Take note, AirBnB folks.

Airbnb wants its hosts to share more than just their homes. As of late 2016, the couch-surfing website announced it would be offering curated “Experiences” that allow travelers to immerse themselves in a city’s culture with a guide.

L.A. guests can now go surfing and camping on the California coast with their hosts; London tourists can explore the city’s street markets and food scene; Tokyo visitors can learn the secrets of Japanese pottery; Tuscany travelers can go truffle-hunting.

Houston, however, is not yet on the list of cities offering this service. And, considering the exciting tourism opportunities waiting around every corner, we think that’s ridiculous. Below, a few of our local suggestions for Houston Experiences. Hope the Airbnb folks are taking notes!
