Houston Pet Expo

This massive celebration of all things pet-related goes beyond dogs and cats to include birds, reptiles, rodents, and pretty much every conceivable pet under the sun. An all-day expo at the Pasadena Convention Center, it features hundreds of exhibitors, agility demonstrations, live entertainment, and a “mega-adoption” event with 100-plus animals that need a home.

World Series of Dog Shows

Barkitecture Houston

One of Houston’s newest annual events has become one of its most beloved. For six years, local designers and architects have created inventive, one-of-a-kind doghouses for a silent auction with proceeds benefiting Pup Squad, an animal rescue group.

Houston Cat Club Charity Show

The club staged its first charity show in 1951 at the legendary Shamrock Hotel. These days, it attracts hundreds of felines competing in dozens of categories, as well as a full array of vendors and exhibitors.
