Mayor Sylvester Turner made a guest appearance on MSNBC's The Reid Out, to talk politics.

 

As a guest on the show, Turner discussed fighting back against the rising COVID-19 cases in Texas and the fight against voter suppression in Houston. 

Houston Rockets release 2021-22 preseason schedule for October

On Friday, the NBA released the 2021-22 regular-season schedule and the Rockets released their four-game preseason schedule. The preseason begins on October 5. 

Music mogul Matthew Knowles shuts down rumors that a Destiny's Child reunion is happening

 

Destiny's Child fans have been waiting in anticipation of a reunion for years and fans assumed that it may be a possibility when the group's Twitter header was updated.   However, Mathew Knowles reassured them that a reunion is not happening any time soon. 

Texas congressman Troy Nehls tests positive for COVID-19

 

Troy Nehls, a Republican from the Houston area, said Saturday that he's feeling moderate symptoms after his diagnosis. Nehls is fully vaccinated and encourages others to get the vaccine.
