In honor of Houstonia’s Spring 2025 issue, “150+ Reasons to Love Houston,” we’re throwing a bash with our friends at Burger Bodega. Join us Thursday, April 17, from 4 to 6:30pm for some sliders, lemonade, a free copy of the magazine, and the chance to win a $150 gift card.

So what’s this issue all about? Despite *gestures wildly* we are still very much head over heels with the city we call home. Our editors compiled the strongest reasons why we love Houston so much, from its passionate residents to its bottomless food offerings. One reason in particular that’s stood out to us over the years is how supportive Houston’s restaurant community is. Our local chefs aren’t competitors; they’re comrades. For the “Reasons to Love” package, food and travel editor Sofia Gonzalez interviewed Burger Bodega’s Abbas Dhanani and Craft Pita’s Rafael Nasr about how they became such great friends and boosters of one another. We couldn’t be more thrilled that Burger Bodega is hosting our special issue launch party.
