Bao buns from Nara (left) and steak and lobster tartare from Eddie V's (right) are just two of the dining deals you'll find at Tasty Tuesdays.

With September freshly arrived, our month-long Houston Restaurant Weeks may be over but that doesn't mean there aren't still dining deals to be had at some of the city's best restaurants. Beginning last week, West Ave is now hosting Tasty Tuesdays, with weekly specials at five of the mixed-use development's most popular restaurants: Pondicheri, Cru, Nara Sushi and Korean Kitchen, Eddie V's, and Del Frisco's Grille.

And these are more than just happy hour light bites: every Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., each of the restaurants is offering discounted prices on dishes and drinks that you could easily make a meal out of. At Pondicheri, you'll find its famous fried chicken for two for only $25, which also comes with sides of curried potatoes, an arugula and blueberry salad, and fresh-baked chutney and pumpkin buns. Next door at wine bar Cru, all glasses of wine are $3 off. Use that money you saved to pay for goat cheese beignets, bruschetta, fried potstickers, or a margherita pizza—all of which are $3 each. You can also get fried calamari or a pot of steamed mussels for only $4.

Across the street at Del Frisco's Grille, you'll get Philly cheesesteak eggrolls and pimento cheese fritters for $7, barbecue beef flatbread pizza for $12, and a variety of mixed drinks for $8 each. Down the way at Nara, select appetizers—including bao buns and sushi rolls—are $6, while drinks like its popular saketini and Seoul Mule are $7. And across the way at Eddie V's, you'll find its most popular appetizers for $10, including fried oysters, kung pao calamari, steak and lobster tartare, and spicy shrimp potstickers along with $10 glasses of premium wine and cocktails.

Worried about parking? Don't be. While you can certainly valet your car if you want to pay, we recommend parking in the big garage behind Pondicheri and Nara—it's free.
