The 2018 Austin Food & Wine Festival, the last weekend in April, was a smorgasbord of deliciousness. We got there early and barely had to wait in line as we sampled bite after spectacular bite, washing it down with pours of wine, cocktails, and, of course, Topo Chico, as we peeked in on chef demonstrations and tastings. If you’re thinking of going next year, we highly recommend it. Just remember to don your best festival gear. And if you forget the sunscreen, hopefully H-E-B will be passing it out again—lifesavers, as always.
