We're getting ever closer to the opening of EggHaus Gourmet, the new concept from Hans and Philipp Sitter of King's Biergarten and King's BierHaus. The Sitter Group says its egg-centric breakfast and lunch spot should open in late August or early September at 2042 East T.C. Jester, according to a release.
We first heard about EggHaus Gourmet in March. The concept is a fulfillment of an experiment during which the Sitters started making kolaches for pop-up shops at the existing beer-focused locations. Once the kolaches took off, the Sitters decided to expand with a full eatery serving egg sandwiches and tacos. EggHaus will use cage-free eggs, it claims, along with non-GMO white corn and hybrid tortillas, preservative-free sausages, and house-made jams.
And now, here's a picture of one of EggHaus' egg sandwiches:
The 2,000-square-foot restaurant with an ordering station will include yellow sconces, floral wallpaper, and rattan woven black-and-white bistro chairs, says the Sitter Group.
OK, one more picture of an EggHaus breakfast sandwich:
