In a few years you can go on your own statewide crawl of Sweet Paris locations!

Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café announced Tuesday that it's expanding from four Texas stores to 10, including three San Antonio locations that will open over a five-year period.

Currently Sweet Paris, which launched in 2012, has four locations, with the latest opening in July in College Station. Its new flagship in Highland Village is opening in the fall. After that, The Woodlands and Baybrook will get creperies, and then the three in San Antonio will start opening after early 2019.

Sweet Paris, which specializes in sweet and savory crepes, along with paninis and waffles, also has a location in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. Thus, at the end of this expansion the restaurant will have 11 sites across two countries.

According to the release, Sweet Paris is focusing on expanding in "upscale lifestyle centers."

Choose your weapon from Coltivare's new arsenal of mocktails, and heck, go back for more!

Previously you had to know about the off-menu Original, a non-alcoholic cocktail at Coltivare, to order it. Times have changed (thanks in part to the pregnancy of beverage director and co-owner Morgan Weber’s wife). Now, the popular Heights hang has launched a menu of non-alcoholic cocktails. The list includes the Original (hibiscus, lemon, lime, Topo Chico), Doctor Pepo’s Tonic (cucumber shrub, citrus, mint, tonic, salt), and Finder’s Keepers (a mock Pimm’s Cup with orange, lemon, cucumber, ginger, and Topo Chico).

Japanese hand-stirred ice cream is coming to Blalock Market. Nobibi, which will offer, according to a press release, “edible creations, contemporary Kawaii décor, and playful, yet modernly stylish atmosphere,” will move into Blalock around spring 2019. It’ll be one of six Nobibis coming to America, including one in Austin and one in Dallas, plus California, Oregon, and Washington.

Eight Row Flint is bringing some old Revival Market friends back each week in August. “Revival Reunion,” which starts 5 p.m. Tuesday, will feature chef cameos from Sam Chang (Aug. 14), who worked at Oxheart and Underbelly as well as Revival; Matt Womack (Aug. 21), now the sous chef at Nobie’s; and Joey Luna (Aug. 28), who’s moved on from kitchens to Momentum Indoor Climbing.

When season two of Top Chef Junior premieres at 6 p.m. September 8, it’ll include two kids from the Space City area. You’ll want to root for Eric, a 10-year-old from Spring, and Kate, a 12-year-old from Houston. Top Chef Junior features 12 chefs ages 10-13; the winner takes home $50,000 and is one step closer to opening his or her own New York City restaurant. Vanessa Lachey hosts, and the program airs on Universal Kids.

Alicia’s Mexican Grille is celebrating 12 years with 12 days of taco and tequila specials. From August 17-28 at all four Alicia’s locations, get 12 tacos for $12, top-shelf margaritas at the house price, and a $12 commemorative Milionario Margarita, which is laced with Avion 44, lime juice, agave nectar, and Gran Gala orange liqueur.

Blackbird Izakaya is coming next weekEater had it first: The Republic shuttered this week (there’s a sign on the door), but Chef Billy Kin is quickly turning it into his full-on izakaya concept. An izakaya, by the way, is a Japanese tavern, which means you’ll want to go for cold beer, smooth Japanese whiskey, and good times. You’ll stay, however, for Kim’s Japanese pub-grub menu, which via the Instagram, looks like it’ll include lavish duck sliders, a delectable uni pasta dish, and this oh-so-pretty potato churro topped by a patiently prepared huevo onsen.

Also via Eater: Beard Papa’s, which hasn’t yet opened its first Houston location, will have a second Houston spot in Bellaire. In case you forgot, it’s coming to Katy in the middle of the month.

Four Austin concepts are coming to Midtown, per CultureMap: 77 Degrees, Jack & Ginger’s Irish Pub, Electric Feelgood, and Unicorn Disco. 77 Degrees in Austin is a three-story club concept with a rooftop bar, plenty of cocktails, small plates, and a dance floor. According to CultureMap, the Houston 77 Degrees will be four stories. Jack & Ginger’s is your consummate modernized Irish hangout for bangers and mash, Jameson specials, and soccer brunches. Electric Feelgood comes from Carmack Concepts (Dogwood) and, according to the Austin American-Statesman, will have a cinema room and rooftop patio (at least in Austin). And Unicorn Disco comes from the teams that brought you HandleBar and Kung Fu Saloon.
