Public school data was gathered from The School Finder and the Texas Tribune Public Schools Explorer based on 2010 and 2011 TAKS data, and the public high schools themselves. Private school data was gathered from surveys completed by private high schools, private high schools’ publicly available school profiles, Private School Review, and the Fall 2013 edition of Houston Private & Select Public Schools. In cases where the chart shows an n/a, the data category was either not applicable to the school or the school was too new to provide such data to the State of Texas. In cases where the chart shows an n/p, the data was not provided by the school to either the State of Texas or Houstonia. Every effort has been made to ensure all data is correct and the most up-to-date available.
