ARE YOU READY for the 2025 hurricane season, Houston?

We all remember last year a little too well. The first storm of the 2024 season, Hurricane Beryl, was a doozy. Despite only being a Category 1 hurricane, it wiped out power for more than 2.26 million people in the Houston area—more customers than any other time in CenterPoint history. Locals directed their anger at the utility company, which restored power to homes at a snail’s pace. Someone even graffitied “Centerpointless” below I-10, spraying out loud what we were all feeling.

So, here goes another round. We spoke with our favorite weather expert about 2025 hurricane season predictions and have all our guides ready to go for you. Here’s everything you need to be prepared for the next storm.
