The Blue Angels return to Houston at the Wings Over Houston Airshow this October.

Houston, prepare for takeoff! The Wings Over Houston Airshow will once again soar over Space City this fall, and includes a major comeback from the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, re-joining the show for the first time since 2018.

Aviation enthusiasts are in for a sky-high treat as world-famous aerobatic pilots take center sky for hours of aerial performances from the F-16 Viper Demo Team, Debby Rihn-Harvey, U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demo Team, Extreme Flight with Patrick McAlee, and the ReMax Skydiving Team.

"This will be the Blue Angels’ first time demonstrating our new F/A-18 Super Hornets, along with the C-130J Super Hercules in Houston,” said Capt. Brian Kesselring, commanding officer, and flight leader of the Blue Angels in a statement.

In its 38th year, the event will include displays of vintage aviation, a classic car show featuring roughly 100 vehicles, interactive areas for children and adults, and charitable opportunities. In addition, you can expect major vehicle envy with the “Military Might!” drive-in style show on Friday, Oct. 28th, as well as the return of a classic car show including a classic guitar auction benefiting U.S. VETS-Houston.

“We’re excited to return to Texas and perform at the Wings Over Houston Airshow after a four-year absence,” Kesselring concludes.

The airshow happens on October 29th and 30th at Ellington Airport 11602 Aerospace Ave, Houston, TX 77034 from 8 am to 5 pm. Tickets start at $37.50 for General Admission and include entry for one adult and up to six children aged 14 and under. Visit the website for more information and premium tickets.
