Catherine was one of Houstonia’s earliest hires, starting in November 2012. Since then, she’s played many roles at the magazine: traffic controller, kolache bearer, writer of profile, travel and news features, and editor of just about every page of the book. Over her career, she’s served as editor on many award-winning stories.

A native Houstonian and Rice/Columbia J-School alum, Catherine’s a fan of her husband, her dogs, a glass of wine and a good novel. She is the former managing editor of the Houston Press.
