Designers Johanna Johnson, Zachary Prell, Haute Hippie, and Wes Gordon unveiled their latest collections to a packed house of admirers on Friday, the last night of Fashion Houston. Australian Designer Johnson’s sequins and Swarovski chains illuminated the runway; her designs featured waves of metallic colors and beaded textures. Her pastel leather gowns were among the night's standout pieces.

Haute Hippie’s collection embodied the airy yet powerful attitude of Founder and Creative Director Trish Wescoat Pound. Crisp pantsuits exuded the hippie-chic couture for which the designer is known. Exaggerated and embellished shoulders transformed soft looks into something more dominant.

The young designer Wes Gordon brought the evening to a close. Gordon managed to integrate lace—a trend that is not going away—without sacrificing his collections modern, utilitarian feel.

As the curtain fell, the after-party kicked into gear. Check out the looks and the after-party in the slideshow below.
