Store Opening: Organic Goes to the Dogs

An all natural pet care brand opens its first Houston-area boutique.

Face it: your pet is your child. When someone says to you “My kid does the cutest thing!” you have to bite your tongue not to say “My dog does that too!” As someone who owns a totally spoiled brat of a pug, I have first hand experience in canine helicopter parenting. Seriously, that little dude has better food and personal care products than I do.

Kriser’s Grand Opening
February 8th and 9th
10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
5160 Buffalo Speedway

My buying of doggie supplies about to get worse—I had no idea that natural pet care was a thing. Apparently it is and Kriser’s—a national all-natural pet supply retailer—is opening its first Houston area store this weekend to show Houstonians what that means.

On Saturday February 8th and Sunday February 9th, they’re having a two-day bash to introduce our fair city to all they have to offer. Free nail trims, free fur-family portraits (Saturday only), discounts, and the chance to win a $300 shopping spree are all on the agenda for the celebration. There will also be an opportunity to vote for one of your favorite Houston-area animal charities—the company is donating 10% of food sales from February 8th to the winning organization.
