The Fourth of July is the greatest holiday of the year (okay, the greatest non-present-related
holiday of the year). Some will disagree, of course, and by some we mean those who hate America, puppies, and fun. As for the rest of us, we can’t get enough of the Fourth’s harmonic convergence of the big Bs: barbecue, beer, and, if you’re doing it right, bathing suits. Sure, ladies, you could opt for that teeny Texas flag bikini (and if you look good in it, by all means, do), but we’re going for a look that oozes Americana—the pin-up, circa 1943. To pull it off, think bold, red lips, sky-high wedges, and a vintage-inspired suit that’ll have everyone at the party saying “God bless America!”
