So far this has been a fairly mild winter in Houston, but it's still chilly outside, so I dropped by Saks Fifth Avenue to see how I could stay warm in my little black dress.

I was immediately drawn to this coordinating coat, vest and blouse by Rebecca Taylor. These pieces look great together, and can be worn separately with other outfits as well. I love the cute three-fourths length of this coat. 

The rich blue color of the coat is complemented by soft blue florals in the blouse. The faux-fur leopard print vest is accented with black leather trim.

Take the coat off and the outfit looks great with the vest alone. This vest is so versatile. Wear it with your LBD in Houston or aprés ski in Aspen.
