Whatever's on your calendar for the rest of the week, go ahead and delete it. Do you have any personal days to cash in? Great, because you have some shopping to do. Stylish forces have converged on Houston to create a wealth of spring fashion events that you, your closet and/or your wallet won't want to miss.

Vintage Vault Night at The Cottage Shop, April 7, 6-8 p.m.

Not everyone has the fortitude to dig through racks of donated clothing, looking for a diamond in the rough (hey, more for the rest of us). Add a dose of vintage to your wardrobe at The Cottage Shop's Vintage Vault Night, where decades worth of fashion will be up for grabs—all to benefit the Women's Home—and amateurs can get advice on how to wear them from a panel of vintage style experts that will be on hand, while enjoying drinks by Ella's Little Kitchen and tunes from DJ Gracie Chavez.

Runway Houston, April 7, 6:30 p.m.

We've already covered the reasons this fashion show experience is one you want to join, but we'd be remiss not to mention it again.

Mr. Larkin

Mr. Larkin Stock Sale, April 8-10

Founded by Houstonian Casey Larkin Blond in her adopted city of Copenhagen, Mr. Larkin sells understated cool-girl clothes with a decidedly Euro-chic vibe—and this weekend she's cleaning out her Houston stock room with a biannual sale—look or labels like Rachel Comey, Creatures of Comfort, Apiece Apart and Mr Larkin's own line.

Buscemi Live at Neiman Marcus, April 8, 1-5 p.m.

Sadly this is not a special appearance from beloved character actor Steve Buscemi, but it's almost as good: a personal appearance from luxury footwear and accessories designer Jon Buscemi. The classic Southern lady in you will be delighted to know that free monogramming is available on anything purchased at the event.

Cars and Coffee with Sid Mashburn, April 9, 8-10 a.m.

Wake up early on Saturday and get your shop on, stopping by the River Oaks store, where there will be classic Ferraris out front, coffee from Blacksmith and an appearance from Sid himself, all to celebrate the River Oaks Men's Clay Court Championship.

Biscuit Spring Warehouse Sale, April 9, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Stock up on Houston's most adorable bedding and other housewares, with savings of up to 80 percent on rugs, furniture, designer bedding and more. This one always draws a crowd, so for best selection we suggest setting an alarm.

Combat, April 9, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Bringing design and creativity out in the East End, Combat (which takes its name from Combat Kroger across the street from the event) brings together local artists, designers and other creatives to share and show their wares. Look for Houston-made jewelry, clothing, vintage finds, prints, paintings, plants and zines.

Inclán by Paola Contreras

Inclán by Paola Contreras Trunk Show at Baanou, April 9, 1-6 p.m.

Fresh off her fashion show at Runway Houston, Houston-based Contreras is setting up her latest collection for an afternoon of stylishly local shopping.

Sparkle with Jewelry Trunk Shows

It's never a bad day to buy jewelry, but it must be especially nice in April, when the sun makes it sparkle so prettily. Pop in to Elizabeth Anthony to hang out with Jordan Alexander designer Theresa Bruno on April 7 and 8; head to Ann Mashburn on April 8 to meet California designer Kendall Conrad or stop by Tootsies to see the latest from M.C.L. by Matthew Campbell Laurenza on April 6 and 7.
