THE TO-DOUX LIST is lifestyle editor Abby Ledoux’s weekly roundup of pop-ups, markets, and other design- and style-related events around Houston each Friday–Sunday. To submit an event for consideration, email details to [email protected]

IRL Chat Party

When: Thursday, September 5; 6–9 p.m.
Where: Lotti Dotti, 601 Richmond Ave.
What: We're breaking our own rules at the To-Doux List once again—this time by commencing the weekend on a Thursday—but who couldn't use an excuse to start shaking off those post-vacation blues? If you've ever wanted to swipe right in real life, you're in luck: Single, ready to mingle, and sick of Bumble—come one, come all. This first-of-its-kind dating event is a partnership between local Rose Matchmaking and the ChatPal app, which connects you with users within a 300 feet of you who aren't already in your phone contacts. Download the app, upload a picture, and attempt to suss out a potential partner from across the room with 30 minutes of messaging—no talking!—until the grand face-to-face reveal. Free; RSVP to [email protected]

Yoga & Hops

When: Saturday, September 7; 10–11 a.m.
Where: 8th Wonder Brewery, 2202 Dallas St.
What: Inhale, exhale, imbibe: That's a trifecta of wellness we can get behind. The hour-long vinyasa class is appropriate for all levels from newbies to yogis to help you work up a sweat before cooling off with the sweet reward of a cold brew. One beer token comes with the price of class ($20 in advance, $25 at the door).

Sawyer Farm & Flea

When: Sunday, September 8; 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Where: Corner of Edwards & Sawyer
What: The weekly, curated outdoor market is back for the season with artisan foods and goods from local faves like Burdlife (handmade jewelry), Uncommon Bees (raw and infused honey), and Gelu Italian Ice (exactly what you think). Free admission and parking, and leashed pets are welcome.

Second Sunday Revival: Vintage Vida

When: Sunday, September 8; noon–5 p.m.
Where: Market Square Park, 301 Milam St.
What: This ultimate retro market from Vida Antigua Vintage and Yoko Vintage is the final installment of the Second Sunday Revival series, featuring all-day shopping from local vintage vendors, food and drinks from Niko Niko's, music from DJ MLE, and a 2 p.m. fashion show with vintage looks presented by OLI.Style.

Teddy Bear Drive

When: Sunday, September 8; noon–5 p.m.
Where: Emerson Sloan, 2438 Rice Blvd. and 1319 S. Voss
What: For the second year, this local party supply and gift shop is giving back to DePelchin Children's Center, a foster care and adoption agency that serves the most vulnerable children and families in Texas. During the drive, DePelchin's "Sunny Bear" will be available at the store for a $20 donation—you can gift it to a DePelchin child or take it home for your own, as proceeds will directly benefit the center. Shoppers are also welcome to donate new teddy bears that will be given to children in the foster care system.
