From speculations of a storefront for Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty lingerie line to a breast cancer awareness collaboration with Susan G. Komen, the Houston Galleria has been keeping busy. The latest venture for the eminent shopping mall is Creed Boutique. A global men’s fragrance bar developed by The House of Creed.

The Houston location is marked as the sixth North American boutique, joining New York City, two franchises in Las Vegas, Miami and Beverly Hills.

“Houston has always been a big market for us and we are thrilled that our clients will have the ability to be fully immersed in the world of Creed at our new boutique,” says Emmanuel Saujet, co-founder of ICP distributor of record.

According to its eponymous website, the history of The House of Creed dates back to 1760 when King George III received a pair of Creed-scented gloves from founder, James Henry Creed.  Inspired by the scent, King George III commissioned the House of Creed to create the fragrance, Royal English Leather, the first fragrance for the company. Today, the fragrance house is the only brand to rely on ancient infusion techniques to capture the “raw and rare materials of each perfume creating a legacy of unrivaled scents.”

The colognes include the woodsy-fresh scent of Green Irish Tweed, which is a brisk escape to the snow-capped alps, bestseller Silver Mountain Water and the original fiery fragrance, Viking. Creed Boutique will also host the latest scent, Viking Cologne, which re-imagines the original aroma with sandalwood, nutmeg and fresh bergamot.

Accompanying the primary fragrances are the brand’s grand selections which include Millesime 1849 (a mix of citrus and rich musk) and two signature women’s perfumes. The women’s perfumes consist of Angelique Encens’ amber and vanilla aroma and Rose Imperiale, a velvety touch of caramel and amber.

Creed Boutique is situated on the ground floor of the Galleria between high-end shops Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. Inside, shoppers will gaze at an abstract painting by Sixth Generation Master Perfumer Olivier Creed and will explore the finest selection of fragrances through a 360 tester cage.

Creed Boutique is available to shop online or instore at The Galleria located at 5085 Westheimer Rd, Space B2570. For more information, visit their website.
