Here in the Bayou City, we have the whole "delivered to your doorstep" trend down to an art form. That's no surprise—Houston is chockfull of delicious diversity that takes our palate around the globe without ever leaving the city. And now, that world travel from the comfort of your couch is more upscale than ever thanks to a partnership between Favor and four top Houston chefs to bring us “Chef’s Club."

From now until February 14, Favor is highlighting select dishes from chef Paul Friedman of Peli Peli and chef Rebecca Masson of Fluff Bake Bar. The series will continue the following week, Feb. 15 to 21, with food from chefs Richard Kaplan of Weights + Measures and Hugo Ortega of Hugo’s

This week’s menu includes biltong wings from Peli Peli. Six savory wings with piri piri pepper oil, rubbed with the traditional seasoning used on the South African jerky biltong. For dessert, Masson is whipping up ‘His and Hers’ cakes perfect for Valentine's Day or its lead-up. The Veruca Cake is devil’s food with salted caramel buttercream topped with pretzel crunch and milk chocolate crunch pearls. The Black Velvet Cake is a sinfully delicious blend of red velvet with cream cheese frosting, cherry jam and dark chocolate crunch pearls.

The following week’s menu includes roasted carrot pizza from Weights + Measures, and mole enchiladas from Hugo’s. There are a limited number of dishes available and customers are allowed to order additional items from the regular menu if they desire.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Houston’s top chefs,” says Uri Bogler, vice president of marketing for Favor. “Food enthusiasts increasingly expect diverse, high-quality delivery options at home and work. Our 'Chef’s Club' series provides culinary talents with a creative outlet to extend their reach beyond the restaurant, while maintaining high standards for food quality and service.”

And the Favor team assures us it's looking to continue this “Chef’s Club” culinary series.

“We work with many merchant partners already in the Houston area, and are always looking to expand the list,” says Rachel Holtin, social media and PR manager for Favor. “It’s fun to be able to provide dishes for delivery that are outside of the norm (pizza and Chinese), and of course we love supporting local [companies].”

High quality, diverse food that is delivered to our doorstep? Sounds like a tasty prospect.
