There’s nothing like craving a cold Karbach Love Street after a long day of work — then realizing your fridge is empty once you’re already home. With help from Drizly, an alcohol delivery app, you can now have a case brought right to your front steps.

The Boston-based marketplace is launching their service in Houston today, making it the fourth city in Texas after Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. Local alcohol retailers such as Goody Goody Liquor, Al’s Liquor, Posh Liquor, Premier Fine Wine & Spirits and Village Liquor will transport orders within an hour for a $5 delivery fee, or customers can request an in-store pickup free of charge.

With mobile delivery services of all types kicking off around the country, it made sense for Drizly founders to facilitate the distribution of alcoholic beverages directly to people’s homes, following behind MiniBar Delivery, TopShelf and Saucey that currently offer the same in Houston. “In a day and age where you can order an Uber and have groceries delivered, we thought, ‘Why can’t you do that with alcohol?’” says Malcom Faulds, senior vice president of marketing. “We’re trying to transform the way people shop for alcohol, making it easier to find what you want and transporting it so you don’t have to go to the store.”

Through the Drizly website or mobile app, which can be downloaded for free on the App Store and Google Play, users can purchase beer, wine and liquor, in addition to added essentials needed for any successful party—ice, shot glasses, mixers, energy drinks, bitters, olives, moonshine cherries, peanuts, and even salt to garnish margaritas. Faulds adds that consumers can also compare prices on items among available retailers before purchasing, or choose specified filters to match their budget (no shame in a $5 bottle of wine).
