Most school districts in the area are not being spared from this situation either, so we've compiled a list showing how these entities are handling this mess. UPDATED 10:30 a.m. February 21

School Districts: 

Aldine ISD: Closed through Tuesday, then switching to remote learning Wednesday. In-person classes resume March 1. 

Alief ISD: Closed through Monday. No curbside meals or Covid-19 rapid testing either.

Conroe ISD: Closed through Friday.

Clear Creek ISD: Closed through Friday with remote learning also canceled. 

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD: All schools and facilities closed through Friday, with remote learning and extracurricular activities also canceled. 

Fort Bend ISD: Closed through Friday.

Galveston ISD:  Classes set to resume Monday.

Houston ISD: Closed through Tuesday, and reopening with virtual learning Wednesday. In-person classes to resume March 1. 

Humble ISD: In person and virtual learning to resume Monday. 

Katy ISD: Planning to reopen Monday

Klein ISD: Reopening Monday. 

Pearland ISD: Resuming classes in some form Monday. 

Spring ISD: Classes canceled through Tuesday.

Spring Branch ISD: Undecided. 

YES Prep: Classes canceled through Tuesday.

Higher Learning:

Houston Community College: Resuming classes Monday. 

Lone Star College: Resuming classes Monday.

Prairie View A&M University: Resuming classes Monday.

Rice University: Closed through Friday. 

Texas Southern University: Reopening via remote operation Monday.

University of Houston: UH, including UH at Sugar Land and Katy, is closed through Saturday. 

University of Houston-Downtown: Resuming classes Monday.

University of St. Thomas: Resuming classes Monday.
