The swanky new lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel Houston is years in the making, and it shows. If you stop in for a drink at the new Bayou & Bottle bar, be sure your phone has enough battery to get a picture of the fancy AF black toilet paper in the bathrooms. If unexpectedly goth toiletries are not enough of a pull, there's another one-of a kind experience tucked away in the back of the lobby, near the private dining room that you'll want to see.

The hotel has collaborated with über-popular golf gaming destination Top Golf to debut the brand's first-ever Swing Suite. If you've ever tried out one of the luxury bowling alley experiences in town like Lucky Strike or Bowl & Barrel, the mix of socializing and interactive, vaguely sporty fun should be pretty familiar. There are two distinct areas where groups of up to six friends can take turns with a driver and a golf ball, hitting it at a screen simulating the Top Golf layout, where players compete to hit balls into targets of varying point values.

Players can lounge on spacious chesterfield sofas and enjoy food and drink service from Bayou & Bottle while they play. The Swing Suite can be rented out for groups of up to 15 for $60 per hour per bay—total, not per person, making this an affordable thrill. The experience isn't exactly like the giant outdoor Top Golf venues in the greater Houston area, but it's a fun option for those that don't want to drive past the Beltway.
