Did you think Bun B had retired from hip-hop for a life of teaching classes at Rice, working as a roving political correspondent for Vice and functioning as an semi-official Houston ambassador? Nope.

The UGK alum came back with a vengeance this month, dropping "Gametime" online earlier in July, his first new music since 2013. The rapper told Billboard that the new single is just a teaser for new music that's set to drop on Aug. 29, just in time for Houston's Bun B Day.

But anyone who wants to get their hands on something new from the legend has options. Bun debuted an exclusive new T-shirt collaboration with Southside Collection this weekend at Sneaker Summit. Perhaps influenced by his recent political gig, the tees invite us to Make America Trill Again. It's been dubbed the MATA shirt, just in case the inspiration was unclear despite the identical font, and it comes in MAGA red as well as white and navy blue. There are also MATA hats, too, because of course there are.

On one hand, who doesn't think America could be a little more trill in these trying times? I fully support increasing the national trillness. I would be happy to elect Bun B on this platform alone. On the other... does everyone really want to be reminded of Trump's campaign? With our clothes? That feels very untrill.

If you support trillification of America('s closets), Bun B x Southside Collection tees are $35 and hats are $30, available at
