9 Ways to Go Back to School in Style
A few Houston fashionistas share their back-to-school looks.
When I wrote this article, Harvey had not happened, which has changed many back to school plans. So many schools and campuses have had to delay opening their doors and many cannot open at all. I felt it was now time to share this article for those who are able to return. I gathered several of my fashionable young friends and asked them to share some of their favorite looks.
We begin with me. Many colleges have adult classes, so we grown-ups can rock the school girl look too! I chose a plaid dress with little cap sleeves and bow at the neck. I accessorized with a fun belt, cap, knee socks and black booties. Time to learn!

The current Miss Houston, Hannah, is attending TSU law school this fall. She told me that at the post-grad level, the schools encourage you to dress in more work-appropriate attire. I love her black pencil skirt and soft, ruffled blouse. She then added a statement belt, pearl earrings, a black tote and black pumps. Look for Hannah in the upcoming Miss Texas Pageant. Another busy girl!

Lastly, Kendra is in one of the Pepperdine University libraries. It's hard to study when your campus is on the ocean in Malibu! She layered a fun Marc Jacobs shirt over a red lace long sleeve top and short black skirt.
The very best of luck to everyone going back to school!
