Monica Fuentes joined Houstonia as associate art director in October 2016. Previously, she was art director at the Houston Press. Over her long career designing publications in Houston, Monica has developed working relationships into lasting friendships. She’s excited to bring her experience and passion for graphic design and photography to the team.

Monica grew up in Katy (go Tigers!) and attended the University of Houston (go Coogs!). She and her fiancé, both avid sports fans, happen to live with the greatest dog on the planet.
