What: A Houston-themed LGBTQ celebration on ice—what could be better? Expect a major dance party with music by DJ Joe Ross and an R&B performance by H-Town's own JaeRene plus an appearance by drag favorite Blackberri as Lizzo (!) and a fashion show featuring designs by Yahaira DeHill. Free to attend; skating fees apply.
Tough Mudder Bootcamp Anniversary
When: Saturday, Jan. 11; 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Where: Tough Mudder Bootcamp Sawyer Heights, 1901 Taylor St., Suite 1
What: To celebrate one year in business, Tough Mudder Bootcamp is doing what it does best: kicking ass. Starting at 10 a.m., expect free HIIT workouts every hour plus fitness challenges, cryotherapy, raffles and giveaways, games for kids, music, and meet-and-greets with the Houston SaberCats pro rugby team. What: If you thought Christmas was the most wonderful time of the year, think again—that title is reserved for this weekend, when more than 50 of the best local boutiques converge for a two-day, one-stop shopping extravaganza with major markdowns. Think Tootsies, a bientot, Switch 2 Pure, Hemline, J. Landa, Laurier Blanc, Hunter Bell, Kendra Scott and more, all on major sale to benefit MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital. Since The Sale's inception in 2015, Houston Tri Delta Philanthropies have donated more than $1 million to the cause. So, yes, this is really guilt-free shopping.

What: Set an intention, make a resolution, and unfurl your mat (bring your own) for an hourlong yoga session at this fave karaoke spot—and, yes, you can totally jam out to "Total Eclipse of the Heart" after if you want, too, as karaoke, brunch, and cocktails follow savasana. Max of 30 people.

Where: Eureka Heights Brewery, 941 W. 18th St.
What: Shop local, drink local at this recurring afternoon market that supports small businesses, artisans, and non-profit partners. Satellite of Pizza will serve grub on-site alongside Eureka's beers; bring new or gently used party items for Birthday Bundles for Kids and any unwanted Legos for recycling or donation to organizations in need.
