Where to Eat (or Where to Order from) This Thanksgiving

Agricole Hospitality is providing a feast for Thanksgiving. Better get those orders in.

Some Houston restaurants are serving Thanksgiving dinner next Thursday; others are offering takeout orders of holiday staples. Below, a giant list of those turkey day deals.

Thanksgiving Dinner

All Perry's Steakhouse & Grille locations will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving. You'll get either the full menu or a traditional turkey day dinner ($49.95) including a roast breast with pan gravy, traditional sides, starters like butternut squash soup and desserts like pumpkin pie with chantilly cream. Kids plates are $15.

B&B Butchers is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, offering a prix-fixe menu ($59 adults, $25 ages 12 and younger) that includes turkey or prime rib, a whole bunch of sides, squash soup or salad, and either pumpkin pie, pecan pie, or apple crisp. But here's the best thing: Every guest gets a take-home gift: leftover turkey sandwiches made that morning in the butcher shop. Heck yeah.

Carmelo's Cucina Italiana is doing a $45 ($20 for ages 11 and younger) feast, plus its full dinner menu, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. next Thursday.

The new Memorial location of Jonathan's The Rub is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving, serving a three-course dinner ($45 per person with fried turkey, $65 per person with beef tenderloin; $25 for children ages 12 and younger). Sides include Jonathan's mac 'n' cheese and sweet potato casserole, garlic mashed potatoes, and cornbread stuffing, while desserts include pecan pie, Snickers pie and pumpkin cheesecake.

Want a Mastro's Thanksgiving? It's open 1 to 9 p.m., rolling out a chateaubriand (beef tenderloin center-cut roast) for $115. It'll be served tableside with béarnaise sauce and peppercorn sauce. Dessert includes pumpkin spice warm butter cake for $17.

Bloom & Bee at the Post Oak Hotel, open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., is offering a four-course Thanksgiving meal for $65, which includes butternut squash bisque, fall salad, turkey, and desserts. Full menu also available.

Steak 48 is serving its full menu on Thanksgiving, opening at 1 p.m. and closing at 9 p.m. Along with domestic wagyu filet and bone-in Kansas City strip, chef Jeff Taylor will carve turkey and offer homemade pumpkin pie. Reservations are necessary.

Bosscat Kitchen & Libations will be open noon-7 p.m., serving a fixed menu ($45-$55, $15 ages 12 and younger, half-off wine and $5 Texas beers) that includes maple-bourbon brined turkey, brown sugar baked ham, green bean casserole, garlic mashed potatoes, spicy mac 'n' cheese with bacon, and desserts like apple cobbler and pumpkin spiced cake. Here's the catch: The owner and top-line staff at Bosscat will be serving with their family members. That means their regular staff gets the day off while the restaurant serves the community.

The Classic All Day will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., serving a three-course prix-fixe meal at $40 per person (not including beverages, tax, or tip). The menu includes maple-glazed turkey breast, herb-crusted roasted butcher's cut with red wine au jus, butter whipped potatoes, sweet potato layered cake, and mom's chocolate cake. 

The côte de boeuf (a standing rib roast popular in France) will be on offer at both Morton's Steakhouse locations. It'll be open 1 to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Get a traditional Thanksgiving feast at The Oceanaire Seafood Room. For $39, you'll be served turkey roulade stuffed with sage cranberry stuffing, plus mashed potatoes, cranberry chutney, and a seasonal vegetable. Their full menu is also available.

Bistro Provence will host a French-style Thanksgiving meal on November 22. For $33 ($15 ages 12 and younger), get a three-course meal of soup/salad, fish/beef/fowl, and dessert. Yes, turkey is among the fowl, and it comes with sage and corn stuffing, sweet potatoes, green beans, a ginger cranberry relish and giblet gravy. The restaurant will be open 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Thanksgiving Brunch

Quattro at the Four Seasons will host a turkey day brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It's offering live piano entertainment, complimentary coffee, bloody marys and mimosas, and a loaded menu that includes ham, lamb, salmon, pork loin, ribeye, and turkey, plus traditional sides from Bayou & Bottle, a full breakfast station, raw bar, and plenty of non-traditional appetizers and entrées. Price is $110 for adults, $49 for ages 6-12. Considering the wealth of menu items, it's a good deal and can easily substitute for your homemade holiday feast.

Ristorante Cavour at Hotel Granduca is hosting a Thanksgiving brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Get turkey, prime beef, seafood, and a lot more. Price is $85 adults, $40 ages 5-12.

And over in Galveston, the San Luis Hotel will host a Thanksgiving brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring breakfast foods, a carving station, soups, salads, desserts, mimosas, and more. It's $65 for adults, $60 for seniors, $30 for children. Visit sanluisresort.com.

Radio Milano is celebrating from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving with turkey, ham, green bean casserole, cranberry jelly, stuffing and more. $35 for adults, $20 for children.

Ara Retaurant and Axis Lounge at Royal Sonesta will be open 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to close on Thanksgiving. Its $29 meal includes turkey and traditional sides. Add an appetizer and dessert for $10 extra.

International Smoke will be serving on Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., serving Thai squash soup with red curry cornbread, smoked turkey breast, whipped potatoes, cranberry Brussels sprouts, stuffing, and pumpkin pie with caramel sauce. A plate is $29.


Need Friendsgiving plans? Fig & Olive is hosting a prix-fixe feast Nov. 19, 20, and 21. Pay $89 for a nine-dish menu including organic lemon chicken, marinated lamb chops, burrata with squash, and pumpkin and chestnut risotto.

Thanksgiving Takeout

Hungry's Rice Village and Memorial are offering a 10-person family feast for $170. You'll get an oven-roasted turkey with brown gravy; corn bread stuffing; garlic mashed potatoes with poblano mushroom sauce; green beans; cranberry sauce; dinner rolls; and choice of apple, pecan, or pumpkin pie. B&B Butchers is offering a to-go menu. Twelve pounds of turkey, all the sides for six, and two pies will cost about $300. 

If you still want to eat at home, but would rather, say, Nick Fine of Underbelly Hospitality cook for you, the company is offering ready-made Thanksgiving dinners (prices vary, but appetizer plus turkey, three sides, all the extras, and two desserts runs about $300). Main courses are a house-smoked, four-pound-approximate turkey breast, and a day-after gumbo (just add turkey). Sides include sweet potato and cheddar gratin, cornbread custard, and bacon sausage creamed greens (what now?), and for dessert, grab pecan pie, vinegar pie, or Georgia James apple pie, among other dishes. 

Or maybe you want an Agricole Thanksgiving? Order here and pick up your proteins, sides, breads, and desserts during Thanksgiving week. A whole turkey (12-16 pounds), and the usual Thanksgiving sides and desserts will probably cost you around $300. Agricole also offers cooking aids if you want to give it all a go yourself.

Feges BBQ will be offering a full to-go menu including brisket, turkey breast, sides like loaded potato salad and sweets like banana cream pie. Place your order by Nov. 14 and pick up Thanksgiving week.

Order your Goode Co. mesquite smoked turkey today for $75. Add the Brazos Bottom Pecan Pie (in the wooden box) for $42 more. 

Killen's Barbecue is offering smoked turkeys ($70, 14-16 pounds), whole brisket ($95), and tamales stuffed with smoked Snake River Farms brisket ($20/dozen). Need 'em? Email [email protected] The tamales are available Thursdays-Saturdays during the holidays, first-come, first-served.

Molina's Cantina is also doing tamales. Get a dozen pork tamales for $10.95.

Want a very Hugo Ortega Thanksgiving? Backstreet Cafe is taking orders for soups, sides (corn pudding, anyone?), sweet pies (eggnog cheesecake with cranberry jam among them) and crisps, as well as the famous wine-poached pears, which are stuffed with blue cheese and dry fruit. Sides range from $25-$40 each, soups are $35, and pies and crisps range from $30-$38. The pears are $30 for six, $60 for a dozen. 

Caracol and Hugo's are giving you an entire feast, including pineapple and habanero spiral ham, coal-roasted sweet potato, and Tamal Azteca tortilla casserole. There's a lot more, too. The family feast (10-12 people) is $225, while the couple's feast is $95. A la carte also available, plus tamales ($24 per dozen).

The original Jonathan's The Rub is handling takeout orders. Get a fried turkey (yup, you heard right), a half-pan of three sides like candied yams, green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce (feeds 12-15), and two desserts like Nutella cheesecake and Snickers pie (feeds 8-12) for $300. The Rustic is selling peanut butter pie ($27.95) and butterscotch pie ($19.95) through Dec. 24.

If you're craving that day-after Thanksgiving leftover sandwich, both locations of BuffBurger are selling the TED (Thanksgiving Every Day) through next Sunday. It's got smoked turkey, fried dressing, cranberry apple compote, and mayonnaise on a challah bun. Get it for $10.75.
