Sweet potato gratin: a holiday to-go offering from Backstreet Cafe.

Well, we did it for Thanksgiving, and now we're doing it for Christmas—here's the first of a few updates about restaurants' plans for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day:

Chris Shepherd's crew is doing a lot, of course. Georgia James is hosting a three-course meal on Christmas Eve (like Underbelly did in years past) and featuring (get this) a spaghetti and meatballs plate with salad and garlic bread, a prime rib and horseradish cream plate with scalloped potatoes and cheesy broccoli, and a candy cane plate with coffee cake and hot chocolate pie. (Do you sense a theme there?) Seatings are at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., and the meal is $75; $35 for children. Costumes are welcome. (You know the one you should wear ...)

Underbelly Hospitality is supplying dinner to-go; order by December 18 and pick up December 23 at Hay Merchant. Mains include house-smoked turkey breast, honey-cured ham ribs, smoked prime rib, and cold fried chicken, while sides and appetizers include rum sausages, spicy pork tamales, cinnamon rolls, green beans, cheddar mac, and tater tot casserole. For dessert, there's vinegar pie and ca phe sua da carrot cake, naturally. Visit underbellyhospitality.com to order.

And if you drink a pint of Eureka Heights at Hay Merchant from now until December 16, Underbelly is donating $1 to Toys for Tots.

Over at Agricole Hospitality, you can get a holiday dinner to-go. Just order by 4 p.m. Dec. 18 and pick up between Dec. 22 and 24 at Revival Market. What's on the menu? For proteins, there's whole turkey ($6.50 per pound at 12-15 or 15-18 pounds) that can be smoked or brined (additional fees), ham (bone-in at $11.95 per pound, bone-out at $13.95 per pound), whole duck ($12.95 per pound), pork crown roast ($28.95 per pound), rack of lamb ($32.95 per pound), and more. Plus Agricole is offering stuffing, macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce, Brussels sprouts, chocolate cream pie, pecan pie, brown sugar pecan bread pudding, breads, and a lot more. Here's where to place your order.

Revival will be open on Christmas Eve from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. And Eight Row Flint will be going from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., serving $5 eggnog, as well.

Onward, sleigh, to the Berg Hospitality Group.
