You Must See This Houston Man Catch a Fish in His House
What is there to do when a hurricane and flooded bayous dump a foot of water into your house? Well, you might as well go fishing.
On Sunday, Twitter user Viviana Saldana posted a series of videos of her father diving for and eventually catching a fish swimming around the family's Hobby-area kitchen with his bare hands. Frankly, you have to see it to believe it.
Why go out looking for food when the food comes to our living room? 😂 pic.twitter.com/s8ZbMZv9yC

The video quickly went viral and has been picked up by outlets including the New York Post and CNN. In follow-up tweets Saldana notes that her dad has always been a talented fisherman, but what's more impressive than his fishing skills is his attitude.
"My dad is a great example of someone who turns a negative into a positive. At some point you have to accept the inevitable and make a choice to enjoy every moment and bring a little laughter and light to your worried family," Saldana wrote on Monday. "A lot of people assumed our positive outlook on it was a result of having good flood insurance--in [actuality] we don't. We just know that the material things can be replaced, and family is all that really matters."
